PAUL GUIRAGOSSIAN (LEBANESE, 1927-1993)

This painting by Paul Guiragossian is extremely unusual in that it combines aspects of both his more naturalistic style- a development of that he used in the late 1950s and seen in the left half of this painting, and his familiar much more abstracted style, with a row of columnar female figures.
