Graham Sutherland, O.M. (1903-1980)

In 1968 Sutherland returned to Pembrokeshire after an absence of over twenty years. A longer visit the following year secured the Welsh landscape as the focus of the work he created for the rest of his life.
The present work was authenticated by Kathleen Sutherland, the artist's widow, on 4 August 1981.
