A Japanese shibayama tusk vase, Meiji period
of cylindrical form, inlaid in mother-of-pearl, horn, coral and wood with a hanging floral basket above a ewer, the reverse with butterflies amongst flowers, signed tablet to the side, on a carved and pierced wood stand -- 11¼in. (28.5cm.) high.
