The slender rectangular inro decorated in gold, silver, red and black togidashi with a scene of a bridge spanning a river, a torii gate just visible behind willow trees on the near river bank, the reverse with a continuation of the river scene and three figures picking mulberry leaves, the interior decorated in nashiji; fitted with a gilt-metal bead ojime with swallows and lotus flowers cast in high relief and with an ivory netsuke modelled as a man carrying a child across a river, the child holding a paper lantern and an umbrella, with signature Masayuki
