With a design of an ox carrying bundles of wood and being lead by a woman on the reverse balancing a load of wood on her head, the ox lacquered in brown and gold togidashi and the figure of the woman and the rope lead in her hand chiselled, an additional branch of blossoming cherry chiselled to the left of the bundle on the back of the ox, all on a silvery-charcoal ground, the interior cases fundame and nashiji; fitted with a glass bead ojime and a kagamibuta netsuke, the plate designed in soft-metal with a noh actor playing a drum, set into an ivory bowl
