Specialist note

Available exclusively in white gold, reference 5041 is the rarest of all the perpetual calendar watches of Patek Philippe's standard production. Made in a small series from 1995 to 2003, it is, with the exception of the enlarged flat bezel, identical to reference 5040 with black dial and Breguet numerals.

Although the exact production numbers are not publicly known, reference 5041 is clearly one of the scarcest models of modern times featuring a perpetual calendar and is rarely offered at auction.
