Specialist note

The Patek Philippe Aquanaut Ref. 5066 "three-quarter size" was launched in 1997, a year after the launch of the inaugural reference 5060. The main difference between the Ref. 5060 and the Ref. 5066 is the presence of a sapphire crystal caseback on the latter.

The ref. 5066 was produced until 2006 in stainless steel, on composite "Tropical" strap, such as the present watch, or with stainless steel Aquanaut bracelet, and in gold until 2003, on composite "Tropical" strap or with gold Aquanaut bracelet. It bears the sweep seconds "mono-date" automatic caliber 330 SC.
