In Sinclair's words
"Ikú comes by canoe every day.
This night, I go to where Ogun and Oṣun meet.
Yewa is here too.
Ogun promises me safe passage.
Oṣun gives me honey to sweeten my journey.
Yewa promises to be with me always.
I breathe deeply as I melt back into the shadows. Ó wà, I tell myself. It is fine. Adúpẹ. We thank God.
I do not hear them crying as they walk away."
