With a great presence on the wrist, this impressively sized 46 mm. diameter limited edition pink gold ‘Quantième Perpétuel au Grand Balancier’ is powered by the in-house manual winding calibre AM 39.001. Featuring a specially modified level escapement named ‘HPE’ or ‘High Performance Escapement’, it has silicium components and two mainsprings providing 6-days of power reserve. The titanium balance is very large with a diameter of 17.5mm, the entire movement is visible through the sapphire display caseback.
The dial with bold Roman hour numerals is unusual and highly readable. The vertical windows at 10 and 2 o'clock display the day of the week and the months and a large dual date at 6 o'clock. In the 12 o'clock position is the leap year indication and at 9 o'clock the AM/PM indicator.
Antoine Martin was established in 2011 in the small town of Alpnach near Lucerne by Martin Braun and his business partner Bruno Jufer.
