Rectangular, with ormolu border and surmounted by architectural spires, with an oval glass aperture within a malachite border, with wooden back, ratchet support, and suspension ring, apparently unmarked

Acquired from Mallett & Son Antiques Ltd., London, by Ann and Gordon Getty in 1986.

Specialist note

A nearly identical frame was sold from the Getty Collection, Christie's, New York, 25 October 2022, lot 1862.
