In partnership between Bovet and Pininfarina, and in celebration of Pininfarina’s 80th anniversary, the dual-branded, limited edition Tourbillon Ottanta proudly covets contemporary style and innovation in which Pininfarina is so well known for, with the technical mastery of watchmaking by Bovet.
Sprightful, the Ottanta can be worn either as a pocket watch or a wristwatch, and the time can be read from either side of the watch. Additionally, the Ottanta’s open work design allows for the observer to take in all of the technical accomplishments and allurement offered by the tourbillon, in which every angle offers a greater appreciation of handcraftsmanship, very much like the aerodynamic designs known to be the signature of Pininfarina. The present lot is a wonderful marriage between contemporary design and traditional execution, and is an excellent, dynamic timepiece to add to any serious watch collection.
