ROLEX, DAYTONA REF. 116520 ‘APH DIAL’, AN UNWORN STEEL AUTOMATIC CHRONOGRAPH WRISTWATCH

Of specific interest to collectors of the automatic Cosmograph Daytona, the present example is distinguished by its dial, nicknamed ‘APH’ due to the printing variation of the ‘Cosmograph’ text where the ‘APH’ letters are slightly separated from the preceding letters R and the word is in a slightly different font than found in other examples of this reference. It is believed that these ‘APH’ dials were made between approximately 2011 and 2014. The present timepiece is in new unworn condition and should appeal to collectors looking to add an 'APH' dial to their Daytona collection.
