Specialist note

The Golden Ellipse
The Golden Ellipse was first launched in 1968. The original design is based on the golden ratio, which links to the Fibonacci sequence that has been used in architecture, art and which also appears in nature. Patek Philippe used the ratio when designing the Ellipse, using the system to hopefully make the most perfectly proportioned wristwatch.
