CASE MATERIAL: Stainless steel, caseback signed Hermes
DIAMETER: 36 mm.
STRAP MATERIAL: Brown leather strap
DIAL: Silvered with 45-minute counter at 3 o’ clock, running seconds at 9 o’ clock, pulsation scale dial, signature of retailer Hermès, pulsometer scale on the periphery of the dial
MOVEMENT: Cal. 287, manual-winding

Specialist note

Universal Genève introduced the Medico-Compax chronograph in the late 1940s – the chronograph featured a pulsometer scale on the dial which allowed medical professionals to measure the heart rate per minute on a scale of 15 to 30 heart beats. The present watch has the signature of retailer Hermès on the dial and it is further engraved on the caseback.
