The coffee pot of baluster form with elongated neck and onion dome-form hinged cover, the spot-hammered body applied with a silver collar to the base of the neck chased and engraved with flowers and foliage, the lower body further applied with birds, butterflies, and a strawberry plant, the vase also of baluster form and applied with a similar silver collar to the base of the neck, further applied with birds, butterflies, flowering branches, a crane catching a frog, and a banana tree, marked on undersides, the coffee pot with date symbol for 1885, the vase with date symbol for 1882
