This pocket watch was first acquired by my great-grandfather Emilio Eremes in Lebanon shortly after the end of WWI, immediately becoming our family heirloom. Eventually, it found its way towards Mexico in order to escape the inevitable arrival of WWII. Since then, it has been kept in a safe box by generations of family members due to its significance and beauty. Now, after a century of being kept safe within our family, this pocket watch is about to start a new future in United States, and we hope it will continue to travel in time for many centuries to come.
