woodcut, circa 1490-91, on laid paper, without watermark, a very fine, even impression, printing with much gaufrage, with the letterpress text by Stephan Fridolin and manuscript initial G in red ink verso, published by Anton Koberger, Nuremberg, 8 November 1491, with margins
Block 250 x 174 mm.
Sheet 290 x 206 mm.

Albertina, Vienna (Lugt 5e); with their duplicate stamp (Lugt 5h); de-accessioned and probably sold at Gutekunst & Klipstein, Bern, 20 April 1956.
With Colnaghi & Co., London (with their stocknumber C. 211675 (?) in pencil in the lower margin recto).
