Stamped by International News Photo on the reverse with pencil name identification as printed in the late 1940s. Image measures 7"x9" picturing Gehrig wiping away tears with a handkerchief as Babe Ruth stands in the background. Appropriately, a portion of an award plaque is visible in front of Gehrig which reads "Don't Quit!". The offered photo is the first of this exact vantage point that we have encountered.
