WITH: Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming manufacture of the present watch with "Directoire" style case, enamel dial, Breguet numerals, smooth case back with engraved intials J.G. in 1898 and its subsequent sale on 3 March 1900.

Specialist note

The movement of the present watch is inscribed "Pat. Jan. 13, 1891" and "2680" preceded by the Swiss Cross symbol, referring to the firm’s keyless winding system. It is furthermore fitted with wolf's tooth winding, gold wheel train, cam wheel regulator, bimetallic compensation balance with gold poising screws and a counterpoised "Moustache" lever.
