The letter reads, "Dear Boone: Pat and I wanted to express to you both our appreciation for the honored position you placed us in during the auctioning of 'Boomtown Drifters.' This is a honor that few artist realize in their life-time, and we will always remember your contribution to our career. In appreciation and friendship."
