Born in 1989, Hong Kong artist Cheuk Ka-wai graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Visioning beyond the mundane use of everyday objects, Cheuk brings them to a novel light with her imaginative coupling of quaint objects and fresh embellishments. Her belief in a dimension that rests ‘between reality and illusion’ delivers a profusion of imaginative notions that permeate her work.
