Specialist note

Reference 145.022 was launched in 1969 and fitted with the new dial with the painted Omega logo instead of the applied version. The reference is called the "Pre-Moon" (before the first step on the Moon). It had the Hippocampus engraved on the case back which was later replaced by the engraved inscription "first watch worn on the moon".
