Tasting note: All the promise this showed in cask is still here. Deep, almost black color with in your face fruit that is at once very sexy and very Vosne in character. Somehow the wine manages an exquisite sense of elegance and balance despite the very substantial tannins. This is old school Burgundy in style yet offers more refinement, especially in the quality of the tannins. Beautiful juice. 91p Burghound Janaury 2002
