Tasting note: A brooding, indeed almost inexpressive nose of earth and dark fruit aromas framed by moderate oak influence introduces opulent, thick and palate saturating full-bodied flavors that are sleekly muscled, dense and powerful, all wrapped in a seriously long and linear finish that is perhaps a touch less austere than usual at this early stage.
