Specialist note

Yang Fuhai (1898-1972) was a microbiologist from Shanghai. Having finished his study in Germany, he returned to China in 1924 and was once a professor at Beijing Medical Specialization School.
Qiu Shiming (1898-1970) was a renowned modern painter and art educator. He studied with Qi Baishi, and was known for his attainments in painting flowers, vegetables, birds, insects and beasts.
