Specialist note

Reference 3800 was in production from 1981 until 2006 and available in different versions. It pays homage to the original Nautilus reference 3700 with a similar design and aesthetic except in a smaller size case and with the addition of a centre seconds hand made possible by the introduction of cal. 335 SC.

The present example cased in gold is set with a total of 76 diamonds weighing approximately 0.46 carats, as confirmed by the Certificate of Origin. To the best of our knowledge, it has never been offered at auction before and is only the 6th example of this model to appear in public to date.
