Specialist note
Introduced at Basel World in 2011, the references 5270 is the most recent additional to the legendary Patek Philippe perpetual calendar chronograph, starting with the reference 1518 from 1941, then 2499, 3970, 5970 before the latest addition.
An increase in diameter over its predecessor, the 5970, of just 1 mm., but with a thinner case, the 5270 wears quite differently from previous Patek Philippe perpetual calendar chronographs. Another contributing factor to this is the new in-house calibre housed inside, which features a day/night indicator as well as dropped subsidiary dials altering the proportions of the dial.
Consigned by the original owner and presented in “like new” condition together with all accessories and packaging provided upon initial delivery, this reference 5270 provides an opportunity for a savvy collector to join the league of owners of the legendary Patek Philippe perpetual calendar chronograph.
