Movement: manual, cal. 19’’’, two-train, 27 jewels, swan-neck micrometer regulator
Dial: white enamel, Breguet numerals, blued steel spade hands
Case: four-body, polished with reeded edges, start/stop button for the seconds and locking bolt in the band, back with engraved monogram, hinged gold cuvette
Signed: case, cuvette, dial and movement
Dimensions: 53.5 mm. diam.
With: Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1892 and its subsequent sale on 16th November 1903. Furthermore the Extract confirms the 19’’’ seconde independante movement, pink gold case, enamel dial with Breguet numerals and later engraved monogram

Specialist note

Consigned by a descendent of the original owner, the present watch has never been offered in public before. Preserved in exceptionally good condition, it is one of fewer than two dozen recorded independent dead second watches by Patek Philippe, including the very first examples made by Patek and Czapek. Manufactured in 1892 this watch is furthermore a very early specimen of this rare model.
