Movement: Manual, Caliber GF01, 36 jewels
Dial: Silvered 18k gold, Arabic and dagger numerals, five minute divisions on outer polished silvered ring, power reserve, subsidiary seconds

Accompanied by: A Greubel Forsey Tourbillon 24 Secondes Incline No. 61 Owner’s book dated 1 May 2010 and duplicate, loupe, gloves, polishing cloth, original wooden suede lined presentation box with beveled glass window and outer packaging. Furthermore delivered with Greubel Forsey Extrait du Grand Livre and Certificat de Grand Service. This Certificate is valid six months following the date of acquisition of the timepiece at Christie’s and will provide the possibility of ordering a free service for the timepiece in Greubel Forsey’s worshops, subject to the conditions published on the back of the Certificate.

Specialist note

The present “Tourbillon 24 Secondes Incline” is preserved in ‘Like New’ overall condition and is furthermore offered with all its accessories.

Third fundamental invention of Greubel Forsey, the manufacture crafted the present timepiece with a tourbillon mechanism inclined at a 25 degree angle, which appears detached from the gear train. Completing a rotation in just 24 seconds, the tourbillon mechanism was crafted from extremely low-density alloys, stemming from the aeronautical and aerospace industries, in order to withstand the stresses imposed by the high speed of rotation.

Characteristic of Greubel Forsey timepieces, the asymmetrical shape of the beautiful 18k white gold case enables the wearer to observe in detail the mechanism through a sapphire crystal opening in the band.
