Specialist note
Jaeger-LeCoultre launched the Reverso model in 1931, its name inspired by the Latin “I turn around”. It was originally created for Polo Players so they could protect their watch against hard knocks of the game by flipping it over. The present watch is an excellent example of the classic Art Deco design, and the case can be swiveled in its carrier to display the heart of the movement through the sapphire crystal back. The Reverso model has continued to evolve its style over the years and is still manufactured today.
