“My work is an experiment using a transparent surface for painting, which is glass. I think that it is disappearing, into nothing. It is to say the transparency, which is the final point of the modern painting, is also the infinite task at the same time. I am trying to see the other side of the transparency by creatively using the material (including acrylic) which is transparent, semi-transparent and opaque.” -Hideki Kimura
