Cal. 1861 mechanical movement, 18 jewels, metal dust cap, white dial, luminous baton numerals, outer fifths of a second divisions, luminous baton hands, red central chronograph hand, three sunken subsidiary dials for constant seconds, 30 minutes and 12 hours registers, crystal etched with OMEGA symbol, tonneau-shaped water-resistant-type case, black bezel with tachymeter scale calibrated for 500 units, fluted lugs, screw back with engraved screw back with seahorse logo, SPEEDMASTER and O in high relief and engraved FLIIGHT-QUALIFIED BY NASA FOR ALL MANNED SPACE MISSIONS, OMEGA crown, two round chronograph buttons in the band, stainless steel OMEGA bracelet stamped 1998/849, deployant clasp, overall approximate length 8 inches, case, dial and movement signed

Accompanied by an OMEGA Certificate of Authenticity, OMEGA International Warranty dated 24 July, 2009, OMEGA limited series card confirming the present watch is number 423 a limited edition of 1970 examples, OMEGA pictograms card, OMEGA Alaska Project presentation box containing the ALASKA Project additional red-anodised aluminum outer case, operating instructions, OMEGA card holder, bill of sale dated July 24 2009, outer packaging and four extra links.

The ALASKA Project limited edition watch from 2008, with its striking white dial, capsule-shaped register hands, and red central seconds hand, has become one of the most desirable and recognizable modern Speedmasters. It is based on the original ALASKA Project prototype. It is also notable for the red anodized aluminum outer case designed to provide more resistance to extreme temperatures. Indeed, some individuals choose to wear this watch with the outer case on the watch as a bold statement.
