Cal. 1861 mechanical movement, 17 jewels, metal dust cap, black dial, luminous baton numerals, outer fifths of a second divisions, luminous baton hands, two sunken engine-turned subsidiary dials for 30 minutes and 12 hours registers, crystal etched with OMEGA symbol, tonneau-shaped water-resistant-type case, black bezel with tachymeter scale calibrated for 500 units, fluted lugs, screw back with Apollo 11 mission badge, black painted engraving HELLO HOUSTON, TRANQUILITY BASE HERE, THE EAGLE HAS LANDED and 3627 / 9992 on the bevel, OMEGA crown, two round chronograph buttons in the band, stainless steel OMEGA bracelet stamped 1498/840, deployant clasp, overall approximate length 8 inches, case, dial and movement signed

This limited edition watch celebrates the 30th Anniversary of Apollo 11, the first spaceflight that landed man on the Moon. This series was made in an edition of 9999 examples characterized by the Apollo 11 emblem on the case back, a bald eagle landing, and the celebrated phrase of the crew; Hello Houston, Tranquility Base Here, the Eagle has landed.
