Cal. 1045 automatic movement, 17 jewels, black dial, luminous baton numerals, outer fifths of a second divisions, luminous baton hands, central chronograph minute hand with orange tip, three sunken engine-turned subsidiary dials for constant seconds, 12 hours and 24 hours registers, day aperture, date aperture, tonneau-shaped water-resistant-type case, black chapter ring with tachymeter scale calibrated for 500 units, screw back, hand engraving 162 underneath lower left lug, day, date and time adjustment crown, two round chronograph buttons in the band, stainless steel OMEGA bracelet stamped 1170/174, deployant clasp, overall approximate length 7.4 inches, case, dial and movement signed

Accompanied by an OMEGA Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1974 as a Prototype.

As a prototype, this watch is extremely rare. Manufactured after the Mark IV and before the Mark V designs, this prototype was marked by its hand engraving of 162 under the balance as well as underneath the lower left lug- a way for OMEGA to distinguish pre-series products at the time.
