Specialist note

Accompanied by a Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1946 and its subsequent sale on October 20th, 1950.

Ambassador Lewis Clark purchased the present watch for his wife Anne Covington Clark. Mrs. Covington Clark was the daughter of J. Harry Covington, the founder of Covington & Burling, a renowned international law firm established in 1919.

The present lot is one of only three examples of reference 2100 in yellow gold to appear at auction.
