Cal. 76240 mechanical movement, 27 jewels, white dial, applied Arabic numerals, two sunken subsidiary dials for constant seconds and 30 minutes register, large circular case, downturned lugs, back secured by four screws, split seconds chronograph mechanism operated through three round buttons in the band, platinum IWC buckle, case, dial and movement signed
41 mm. diam.

With IWC International Guarantee dated 1 August 2001, operating instructions, original fitted wooden presentation box and outer packaging.

The Portugieser Chronograph Rattrapante model was made in a limited edition of 250 examples in platinum. The present example is no. 173 of this series and impresses with its very good overall condition.
