Specialist note

The present watch with its playful turquoise lacquered dial is without doubt a very appealing and rare "Day-Date" example, furthermore preserved in very good overall condition. Lacquered dials of vibrant colours, such as this one, are known among collectors as "Stella" dial from the Italian word for star.
