Signed Omega, movement no. 9'380'044, case no. 9'173'120, manufactured in 1937
Cal. 33.3 CHRO mechanical movement, 17 jewels, black matte dial, Breguet numerals, outer five minute divisions and telemetre scale, inner spiral tachymetre scale, two subsidiary dials for constant seconds and 30 minutes register, large circular case, sloped bezel, snap on back, chronograph buttons in the band and in the crown, case, dial and movement signed
37 mm. diam.

Specialist note

According to the Archives of Omega, this watch was produced under license by Lémania Watch Orient, at the time one of the firms subsidiary of Omega. Based on the case number, it would appear that the watch was sent to Italy on 6 July 1937.

Combining aesthetics, technical complexity, rarity and condition, the present timepiece is an incredibly attractive and wearable example of the "golden age" of horology: the 30s and 40s. The complex chronographic functions are operated via a button in the band and an in-line pusher in the crown.
