Each with a beaded plain frieze, on chamfered square legs, one table with a paper label Stone Parlour / Capt Townshend R.N. / M.P. / Half Round Table, the other labelled Billiard Room / Capt Townshend R.N. / M.P. / Mahogany Half Round Table
31 ¾ in. (81 cm.) high; 48 in. (122 cm.) wide; 23 ¾ in. (60.5 cm.) deep

Almost certainly acquired by George, 1st Marquess Townshend (d. 1807), Raynham Hall, Norfolk and thence by descent to his son George, 2nd Marquess Townshend (d. 1811), and thence by descent to Captain John Townshend R.M., M.P. (labelled between 1847 - 55), and later 4th Marquess Townshend (after 1856). Thence by descent at Raynham Hall, Norfolk.
