Mechanical jewelled movement, minute repeating on three gongs, twelve black mobile titanium blades in the shape of a diaphragm open and close upon activation of the minute repeater to reveal the mechanism, Arabic quarter numerals, large circular case, stepped bezel, slide in the band to activate the minute repeater, glazed display back secured by six screws, black PVD-coated 18k white gold De Grisogono double deployant clasp, case and movement signed

This rare minute repeater was manufactured by Christophe Claret for De Grisogono exclusively. The dial features an interpretation of a mechanism inspired by a reflex camera. Made out of twelve mobile titanium blades, the diaphragm opens once the slide for the minute repeater is activated, revealing the movement for the duration of the chimes before closing again.

The present lot is in overall excellent condition, plays beautiful Cathedral chimes and is for the first time offered at Christie's.
