According to the Archives of Universal, the present watch was manufactured in 1948.

Launched in 1944, the legendary "Tri-Compax" is certainly one of Universal's most famous models. One of the most complex chronograph wristwatches of the period, its functions include days, weeks, jumping months, moon phases, minute counter, chronographic hours, and a tachymeter scale.
