Lot 83 Giacomo Manzù (1908-1991)
Born Giacomo Manzoni, in Bergamo, in 1908, Manzù’s collaboration with the Rossi family was initiated through conversations with Cesare Brandi who had become aware and responsive to the artist’s working methods. Similarly to Manzù’s sculptural work, his prints deal with the human form, the interplay of human figures, and importantly with the viewer as onlooker and voyeur.
