Approximately 90 engraved plates in two states (some on Japanese vellum, color-printed, or hand-colored and signed in pencil), lettered tissue guards. Contemporary red morocco, covers decorated to a different pattern with triple gilt fillet borders enclosing stylized water lily design, ivory and green morocco onlays, spines gilt in 5 compartments with 4 raised bands, turn-ins gilt, green morocco doublures gilt with ivory and red morocco onlays, green watered silk endpapers, top edges gilt, others uncut.
