BY THE IMPERIAL PORCELAIN FACTORY, ST PETERSBURG, CIRCA 1810s
Realistically modelled and painted after a model by S.S. Pimenov, the seated figure with ciselé gilt detailing to her kokoshnik and blue sarafan, holding in one hand the handle of the broken jug, and in the other a kerchief, apparently unmarked
9.1/8 in. (23.1 cm.) high
