signed and numbered 'A. Rodin No. 12' (on the top of the base); inscribed and dated '© by musée Rodin 1967' (on the front of the base); inscribed with foundry mark '.Georges Rudier. .Fondeur. Paris.' (on the back of the base); with raised signature 'A. Rodin' (on the underside)
bronze with dark green and brown patina
Height: 6 1/8 in. (15.5 cm.)
Conceived circa 1895; this bronze version cast in 1967
