Cal. 27 SC mechanical movement, stamped twice with the Geneva Seal, 18 jewels, metal dust cap, silvered matte dial, applied gold baton numerals, center seconds, outer beady minute divisions, circular water-resistant-type case, screw back, 18k gold Patek Philippe buckle, case, dial, and movement signed by maker, dial signed by retailer

Specialist note

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1958 and its subsequent sale on May 19th of the following year. Further accompanied by a Gübelin fitted red presentation box.

Reference 2508 was launched in 1951 and remained in production until around 1960. The model is illustrated in Patek Philippe Wristwatches by M. Huber & A. Banbery, 2nd edition, p. 204, pl. 328.
