Rectangular with rounded corners, engraved scroll wave design to the hinged cover and four sides, all surrounded with blue enamel and each inset with a cabochon ruby, the bottom panel and interior with engraved geometric star and straight and wavy line design, signed, with Italian gold marks

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present box with five cabochon rubies of 1.15 carats in 1988 and its subsequent sale on October 20th of the following year.
