Specialist note

The present watch comes from a descendant of the original owner. The family immigrated to South America from Europe and established a manufacturing firm for alcoholic spirits such as Fernet. As the business grew the patriarch of the family purchased a stud farm and became an avid horse race fan. This lovely example of a Vacheron Constantin chronograph watch was personalized following its purchase with portraits of both husband and wife. It remains in very nice overall condition.
