The serpentine rectangular shaped top centred by a gilt-tooled red leather writing-surface within a border of scrolled-acanthus marquetry and a moulded ormolu surround, the shaped frieze similarly decorated and centred to each side by a pierced rocaille cartouche, on cabriole legs headed by pierced clasps running to shell sabots
