ATTRIBUTED TO PAULY & CIE, VENICE, THIRD QUARTER 19TH CENTURY
Naturalistically-carved overall, the back decorated with a crab and shells, lifting to reveal a pale ivory close-nailed cushioned silk back and seat, above a rocaille base carved with further shells
